The very First time I listened to them, I said to myself "Now, this is a band from this generation. I can call this my own". Of course, it's something I can proudly put in my music library. And man, I was in for such a surprise.

Awolnation* is an American electronic rock conglomerate, formed & fronted by Aaron Bruno, formerly of under the influence of Giants, hometown hero, & insurgence. Current members are: Drew Stewart, Kenny Carkeet, David Amezcua, Isaac Carpenter. While past members were: Christopher Thorn, Hayden Scott, Devin Hoffman, and Tony Royster Jr.

They have a remixed track featured in the take action vol. 11 compilation CD, entitled "sail-unlimited gravity remix". Aside from being catchy, and not so common from tracks and songs you hear today (common genres are what: pop, country, mainstream radio hits?), there's this new gen appeal to it, which makes it all count.

I can say, Awolnation is trendy, a breather from it all. What? how creative are they, you ask? Well, here's something to attest that. Enjoy their featured music video "Not your fault".
All in all, this band is a mixture of electronic, pop, sketchy riffs and grungy, dance rhythms, and let's take into account: the new gen mass appeal that clicks to our modern culture.
